1924
Alberto Prats opens his first optical business in Mas de las Matas (Teruel)
1969
Industrias de Óptica Prats S.L. is founded, initially manufacturing mineral lenses and shortly afterwards also organic lenses.
1990
The Barcelona laboratory is modernized, and laboratories are established in Valencia and Lisbon (the first abroad).
2006
PRATS develops its first free-form design progressive lens with a variable corridor.
2016
The first subsidiary opens in Latin America, and VIMAX® and VIMAX® SE are launched.
2024
VIMAX ADAPTATIVE is launched, the lens with Artificial Intelligence that best adapts to each user.
